BACHELORHOOD & OTHER DISASTERS

For over a week now, Adamawa state has been on lock down with the prying eyes of security forces all up in your business.
As laudable as this security measure is, it also comes with its inconvenience.
As a Bachelor, my life revolves around ''Mama put's'' and the occasional Fast food joints.
I am not proud to admit that my kitchen skills have experienced a geometric decline since after graduation but the point is Necessity became my driving Force.
Working 12-16 hrs daily leaves you with little or no options.
I bet my furniture would sue me for gross neglect if they had the constitutional rights to.
Bottom line, I barely even have time to Have Time talk less of making an appearance in the kitchen.
And now, it is being credulously speculated that the curfew is to be extended to 24 hrs, commencing time, unknown.
People are advised to stock up food et al and I am bewildered with a plethora of blank choices.
What do I stock Up?
Pure Water?
Garri?
A bottle of G-nut?
Biscuit?
I really dont know.
I made the mistake of stopping over at a Yam stand and the seller, looking at me, decided I was a Maga to buy 2 tubers for N900.
I wish I were married. At least this responsibility would be off my list.
So I brace my self for what is to come.
So help me God.
